Baltimore Black Choreographers Festival

The Baltimore Black Choreographers Festival is our signature annual event, centering the artistry and vision of Black choreographers from Baltimore and beyond. Through electrifying performances, community classes, and meaningful dialogue, the festival uplifts diverse voices and strengthens our cultural ecosystem.

CELEBRATION

Uplifting & Honoring the Culture & History of Black Dance

The Celebration Concert brings together dynamic dance companies, artists, studios, and some Baltimore County Public School dance programs for a night of artistry and cultural pride at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts. This event honors the legacy of the Black History through performance, creating a shared experience that inspires and connects our community.

Emerging Artist Support

Through resources, performance opportunities, and professional development, our Emerging Artist Support initiative empowers early career artists to grow and thrive. This program helps emerging artists gain visibility, strengthen their craft, and navigate the professional dance landscape with confidence.

BBDC Dance Classroom Support 

For back-to-school season, we support Baltimore City dance educators serving predominantly BIPOC student populations. We offer direct supply support and a platform to amplify your Amazon or other classroom wishlists so the community can donate directly. Apply HERE
